Situated on the edge of the small friendly village of Paule this newly renovated cottage has been finished to a high standard to provide a comfortable holiday base.
The detached cottage is located in the owners garden and there is ample parking. The cottage is available throughout the year.
For the 2010 season there will be a swimming pool available.
This is only shared with the owners on their occasional visits.
The Cottage is within easy walking distance of the friendly small village of Paule in the heart of Central Brittany.
There are a couple of bars, a local shop which provides all your basic needs from your morning baguette to that necessary bottle of wine.
Local bar Le Fer de Cheval serves a set lunch menu and you can get an evening meal most nights—please check locally on arrival for opening times.
Close to both the country town of Carhaix with it’s Saturday Market and the small town of Rostrenen, whose market is on Tuesday, there is a good selection of small traditional shops and restaurants.
Each summer in July sees the arrival of the Vieilles Charrues festival with its international artists. The festival is in easy reach of Paule.
Whether you are looking for a quiet time or something more energetic, this area offers something for everyone, whatever age.
The beautiful coasts of Brittany are within 60 minutes drive.
Lovely medieval towns and fishing villages provide the holidaymaker with a delightful choice.
The Nantes/Brest Canal is within 2 miles of the cottage.
Water sports or sunbathing, both can be enjoyed just 20 minutes away at the huge wonderful man made reservoir, Guerledan.
By air, Brest Airport is 45 minutes away, Dinard Airport is 90 minutes and Rennes Airport is approximately 2hours 30 minutes away.
By ferry Paule is approximately 2 hours from St Malo and 60 minutes from Roscoff. Cherbourg & Caen are both about a 3 hours drive.

Prices are inclusive of Electric, Water, Gas, Line and Cleaning. Logs for the woodburner are not included.
