Welcome to La Vieille Boulangerie - Langourla, 22
The self catering Gîte (Cottage) is located alongside the main house and is fully equipped for a comfortable and independent stay. Recently refurbished & decorated, the Gîte accommodates 4 people in two bedrooms, one a twin and one a double. A toilet is located upstairs and as well as a toilet and shower downstairs.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/ freezer, microwave, gas hob with oven, dining table & chairs and a washing machine to assure independence. The sitting area is fully furnished and has TV with Freesat . Storage heating is provided for those cosy winter nights indoors.
Private parking along with BBQ for outside dining combine to ensure your stay is both comfortable and private. For your convenience we provide all bed linen and towels.
The gîte is available all year round and is available for weekly or longer term rentals.
Next to the Gîte is a 5 bedroom Chambres D'hôtes in case you have family & friends to join you during your stay – we also offer 2, 3 or 4 course dinner to reserve in the evenings as well as gastronomic menus created to suit your requirements. We are licensed for the sale of wine, beer & cider.
Langourla is ideally placed to explore the Côtes d'Armor, Finistere, Ile et Vilaine and Morbihan. Within easy reach is the beautiful north coastline from Val-André up to Cap Fréhel, changing from vast sandy beaches to the more rugged coastline within a few kilometres. The pink granite coastline from Paimpol to Trébeurden is spectacular and provides a great day out along with breathtaking Ile-de-Bréhat
To the south are sandy beaches and the idyllic towns of Carnac & La Trinité-sur Mer , great places to explore with lots of marinas and beautiful scenery. It is also possible to visit Belle-Ile from the port of Quiberon. Close by are the lovely cities of Lorient and Vannes with great restaurants and shops.
There are many lakes in the area offering fishing, boating and bird watching. A range of golf courses are located across Brittany and the area offers many walks suitable for all, ranging from short walks to the more demanding for the enthusiast. The area is also very popular with cyclists.
Langourla has a jazz festival that takes place each August in the open air theatre by the lake. The medieval town of Montcontour is close by and, every two years, holds a celebrated medieval fête.
Dinan, Lamballe, Loudéac, Merdrignac,Broons & Josselin are all within easy reach, and offer full facilities, bars, restaurants and large supermarkets whilst, for the shopaholic, St Brieuc and Rennes are waiting for you.
Market days are especially enjoyable whether in small local towns and villages or the larger cities such as Dinan, Rennes, St Brieuc & St Malo.
