The property is situated in a private, tranquil location, with undisturbed views of open countryside, yet only five minutes from shops and restaurants.
Accommodation includes the Farmhouse and attached Studio, which can be booked together if required (supplement).
The Farmhouse,
Over 250 years old, is of stone and oak beam construction. fully equipped, with the advantage of central heating to complement the wood burning stove, making it ideal for summer and winter vacations.
The Studio
Enjoys a private decked terrace area with its own outside furniture and barbecue.
Outbuildings
Have been converted for recreational use and the grounds which are enclosed, include a heated, fenced swimming pool (seasonal), sun terrace and large games room containing table tennis, table football, snooker, bowling alley, darts, music centre and various outdoor and indoor games.
There are safe playing areas in the grounds where there are swings, a wendy house etc, The orchard is available for football, golf, cricket and badminton.
There is an outside dining table to accommodate 14 plus, as well as other tables and chairs, parasols and sun loungers for relaxing on the lawns in divided areas of the grounds. The old Bakehouse provides a unique, covered barbecue area.
The Farmhouse comes fully equipped. There is a spacious comfortable lounge, dining room, woodburner and full central heating ; Books and games. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas cooker, microwave and food mixer. There are two ground floor bedrooms, bathroom, shower room toilets. The first floor has three more bedrooms, two of the bedrooms en-suite.
The studio is fully equipped for up to three people. It is comfortably furnished with one sofa convertible to a double bed and one single sofa/bed, central heating and a wood burner. It has a separate shower, toilet and washbasin with independent gas hot water boiler. It has its own separate decking area with sun loungers, umbrella, barbecue, dining table and chairs and makes an ideal hideaway.
Location
Set in the beautiful Brittany countryside La Foret de Glenne provides the perfect setting should you wish to spend your time simply relaxing around the swimming pool and gardens, or in the games room.
For those with a more energetic outlook, Fougeres Forest is just a 10 minutes drive for forest walks, horse riding, mountain bike tracks and lakeside swimming.
The village of Louvigne du Desert is only a 3 minute drive away and provides you with a good selection of shops, restaurants, bars etc., . . .everything you could need for a civilized stay.
