Welcome to Les Chenes - La Roche Bernard, 56
Welcome to les Chenes (The Oaks). This popular 2 bedroomed (1 double, 1 twin) country home offers a peaceful and comfortable haven for you to return to after exploring the beautiful area surrounding La Roche Bernard and is perfectly placed for visiting the sandy beaches, fantastic coves and many inland attractions of South Brittany.

Maison de l'Abeille - In the centre of this quaint, thousand year old town stands a big old house overlooking the harbour. This is Maison de l’Abeille, a museum introducing visitors to the mysterious world of bees.

Sample the honey, mead, gingerbread and sweets that are for sale. Discover over 100 products made from honey and its by-products: royal jelly, pollen, propolis etc.
Penestin - Penestin has 25 kilometres of coast, much of it sandy beaches such as the landmarked site of la Mine d'Or and its golden cliffs, many beaches of fine sand, wild creeks and the little fishing port of Trehiguier where Penestin mussels grow by their thousands. On load or on shoal, on tractors and flat boats, the musselbreeders mind the stakes and the crops, adapting to weather and tide.
Visit the exhibition "Of Mussels and Men" in the old lighthouse at the port of Trehiguier to see the astonishing life-cycle of the mussel and the skills of its breeders. It displays plankton life, tools and of course a few recipes.
