Constructed in 1710, this non working farm offers the choice of three characteristic holiday gites in the Morbihan area of Brittany which can be rented seperately or together. Choose between Le Pressoir which sleeps 10, La Grange which sleeps 7 or Gilles which also sleeps 7.
These rural morbihan gites are situated around a large courtyard and overlooking the undulating countryside of southern Brittany with surrounding fields on three aspects and a rural walkway on the fourth.
The farm is situated in a secluded position with no passing traffic, yet with in easy reach of MEDIEVAL TOWNS towns such as Vannes and Auray and the beautiful BEACHES of southern Brittany and the Morbihan region, such as Quiberon and of course Carnac where you will also be able to see the “alignments de Carnac” or “Menhirs, the famous standing stones. Plus excellent shopping at Pontivy, Lorient and Vannes. Situated within easy reach of the N24 these morbihan gites are centrally located.
Adjacent to the property, there is a chemin rural (rural walkway)which leads down through the woods to the river Evel, offering EXCELLENT FISHING and WALKING trails. The gites offer the peace of rural cottage holiday lets with the added bonus of beaches and towns with in easy reach.

The main pool is kidney shaped., having graduated depths and an integral seating ledge which smaller children find ideal. Around the pool there is a patio with sun loungers offering superb views overlooking the undulating country side of the Evel valley, southern Brittany.
LE PRESSOIR - A beautifully renovated DETACHED farm building. “Le Pressoir” sleeps 10. Offering traditional open plan Brittany style accommodation, the living area has character beams and a granite fireplace with wood burning fire. There is a TV and music centre, plus a DVD player and a small selection of DVD's. The furniture is farmhouse style and the kitchen fully equiped with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Offering THREE double bedrooms and TWO twin/bunk rooms. There are two double bedrooms on the first floor, one with ensuite facilities, and a further double bedroom on the ground floor, with ensuite facilities.
The ground floor bedroom opens through large french doors on to one of two patio areas and overlooks the private pool. The second patio area is a small "breakfast" area accessed by patio door from the lounge area and overlooks the private garden, and Maize/haricot fields. The fourth and fifth bedrooms are usually twin or bunk beds. There is a private garden area to two sides of the pressoir opening up in to the main grounds.
The raised plunge pool (4m hexagon) is for the exclusive use of the “Le Pressoir” guests only. There is a further shred pool in the grounds of the farm. Surrounded by a decking area with sun loungers and garden furniture, the pool area provides an ideal sun trap. There is also a barbeque so that you can enjoy the outdoor life!
The ground floor bedroom is suitable for wheelchair access should it be required with a wet room ensuite. For the wheelchair user it is of interest to know that all light switches and plug sockets on the ground floor are located at wheelchair height ( also useful for children!) and the internal doorways are 1m wide, with all external doors being double or 1 1/2 doors.
Set in 7 acres of grounds the Pressoir offer not only the private plunge pool, but also use of the shared pool and childrens play equipment, unspoilt views and access to all the medieval towns and southern beaches of Brittany. A quite setting with no passing traffic. Ideal for a family holiday. Many sporting activities available.
LE GRANGE and GILLES - La Grange and Gilles both have 3 BEDROOMS and SLEEP 7. A recently restored semi detached farm building converted with private facilities offering all the home comforts and a welcoming log burner for those winter evenings and set around a large non working farm courtyard with views to every aspect. Set in 7 acres of grounds the gite offersthe use of the shared pool and childrens play equipment, unspoilt views and access to all the medieval towns and southern beaches of Brittany. A quite setting with no passing traffic. Ideal for a family holiday. Many sporting activities available.
The gîte has two double bedrooms and a third bedroom with bunk beds plus a single bed. There is a family bathroom, plus a seperate shower room. Downstairs you will find a second toilet. A fully fitted open plan kitchen ,providing a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, firdge/freezer, oven and hob.
The lounge french doors open to the rear of the building on to a patio and garden area with barbeque. The uniterupted views from the patio are of the spectacular southern Brittany countryside, ideal for relaxing in with that all important glass of wine!
The garden area opens on to the main gardens and access to a large shared swimming pool. With 7 acres of land the farm has plenty of room for children to run around in and there is a selection of play equipment.
The farm is located in a small commune - just us and one neighbour. We are at the end of a lane with no passing traffic. Fields surround the farm providing glorious views of the Brittany countryside.
There is a chemin rural adjacent to the property which provides excellent walking trails and also leads down to the river Evel for excellent fishing. For the children there are swings and slides and plenty of space to run around in. They will also enjoy seeing our chickens. For all the family there is table tennis and a boules court.
